🔺Tangram
The classic Chinese tangram: fit all seven pieces back into the square silhouette with rotation, flipping and grid snapping
Tangram
Drag the seven scattered pieces back into the square silhouette — position and orientation must both be right.
Drag pieces to move, or select and nudge with arrow keys; R rotates 45°, F flips. Pieces snap to the grid automatically.
How to Use
The tangram set is two large triangles, one medium triangle, two small triangles, a square and a parallelogram. Fit all seven into the square silhouette with nothing left over. Pieces snap to the grid when close; select a piece to rotate in 45° steps or flip horizontally — when a piece won't fit, try flipping it.
FAQ
Why won't the parallelogram fit?
It's a chiral piece — some orientations require a flip before rotating to match the target.
How are moves counted?
Every rotation, flip, or move is one step; a drag-and-drop counts as one, and undo refunds the move.
