⚡Reaction Test
Click when the red turns green: 5-round reaction time test with average score and personal best, touch & spacebar ready
Tap the panel or press Space: wait on red, click the moment it turns green. Jumping the gun fails the round; your 5-round average appears at the end.
How to Use
Tap the big panel or press Space to start. The panel turns red for a random 1.2–3.5 s wait, then flips green — click at that instant to record your reaction time in milliseconds. Clicking during red counts as a false start. Five rounds make a series, your average is shown at the end, and the all-time best is saved locally.
FAQ
What is a fast reaction time?
The visual average hovers around 250 ms; under 200 ms is excellent and under 180 ms approaches the human limit.
Why does a false start fail?
Clicking early means you predicted rather than reacted, so the round is invalid and must be retried.
